Palm Family Thanksgiving/Christmas

Next, we had the Palm Family Thanksgiving/ Christmas. We celebrate the two holidays at the same time each year and flip back and forth on which holiday we celebrate them on. Terry and Linda get each of the kids a room at hotel for two nights. Thursday afternoon we went over to their house and celebrated Thanksgiving and their anniversary (Dec 27th).
We had Turkey, stuffing, potatoes, pies, the works.
That night we went back to the hotel to swim, play a few games and eat pizza for supper.

Friday we celebrated Christmas. At noon we have oyster stew for the Palms and potato soup for the in-laws. :) I'm proud to say that Alex likes oyster stew (even if his mom is a baby and doesn't). He and his cousin Savannah were the only two grand kids to eat the oysters.
After the adults are done torturing the kids by prolonging the eating time as long as they can, we open presents.
Once the presents were opened and played with...

we ate appetizers and deserts until we could no longer eat or look at another food item for fear of exploding.
Saturday morning we got up and ate together before we all went our separate ways.
