Lets just say that today's little antenna experiment was a HUGE FLOP! :) My poor brother had to scale the roof for nothing!
The ONE channel that we got when experimenting yesterday disappeared today when we bungee corded the antenna to the chimney. How does that work? The antenna was higher with less obstructions and yet we get nothing??? When it was just thrown in a low "valley" for lack of a better term, it found a channel. STUPID digital TV.
So today was spent calling cable companies (the 2 that we can get in this area) to get prices. Did you know that to do business with Direct TV you have to have a 24 month contract? Crazy. The local cable company that we are getting Internet through gave us Basic Cable (channels 2 - 20) for $9.99 with no contract. They are coming out Thurs to install - YEAH!!!
