We had a great Christmas this year. It's fun to watch the excitement on the kid's faces as they open up their gifts.

Yep, we have a fake tree.

Our little "helpers" had more fun trying on the Christmas tree, playing in the box, and messing around with the garland than actually being productive... mom is a slave driver!

Taking down the tree this year was the greatest ever! Usually I procrastinate until the last minute (one year almost until Feb) because it's not as fun to go around the tree a billion times taking stuff down as it is to put it up. This year Alex and Abby wanted to help so bad. They took all of the bulbs down and gave them to me so that I could pack them. Then Alex went around the tree a million times taking the lights and garland down! He was the best helper ever!

Then we had to disassemble the tree. Alex, again, was the greatest helper. I like the tree to be taken down a certain way. Henry never does it the way that I want him to, just to aggravate me. Alex did everything perfect! I love that kid!
